Regulatory Compliance Officer

Our team is recruiting a Compliance Officer to help us build a world-class AML/CFT program that supports our growth plans. 

The ideal candidate will be a Compliance Generalist but will have worked within the crypto industry.

This is a flexible part time position, about 20 hrs/week

Expectations 

• Knowledge of AML/CFT legislation in Lithuania. 

• Experience in developing AML/CFT, sanction, and fraud policies in line with FCIS regulations and guidelines.

• At least one year of working experience as a Compliance Officer will be a plus 

Requirements 

Experience creating, developing, and implementing internal corporate compliance programs;

 Fluency in English and Lithuanian (both written and spoken);

 Excellent communication skills;

Availability and permission to work in Lithuania; 

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced start-up environment. 

Duties

Maintain and create internal procedures, policies, and manuals to prevent the business from being used for money laundering as required by law;

Perform regulatory STR/SAR/CTR etc. reportings;

Escalate compliance risks and issues to management, provide ongoing support & advice regarding AML/CTF within the Company;

Identify, investigate, and resolve all activities that are deemed non-compliant;

Assessing and ongoing monitoring of the constant compliance of the company with all applicable regulatory and legislative provisions;

Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements and guidelines and assisting with updating company procedures and policies where necessary, to ensure continued compliance;

Preparing the training and educating material to be sent to the staff of the Company in respect of the AML/CFT function according to the Law.
