A day in the life of a Printful developer involves:

• PHP, JS, Bash, Objective C, Postscript, Python, EPL, integrations with Unix/Mac printing systems
• using cloud services like Amazon AWS, Dropbox, etc.
• creative problem solving, like figuring out how to control a printer that only connects to a Windows computer through a server, how to calculate employee productivity, or how to organize a tracking system for products and printing processes
• working with Composer and writing tests

Our requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in PHP development
• experience with MySQL queries, database design, and optimization
• professional experience building scalable web applications
• desire to learn and master new technologies
• initiative and active participation in project development
• analytical approach to problem-solving
• experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• knowledge of the English language

What about the teams?

At the moment there are more than 60 specialists in our IT department. At Printful we have various development teams:

• our ecommerce integrations team maintains and deploys existing and new e-commerce platforms and maintains API
• billing team is responsible for all payments, discount systems and everything else related to money
• production team makes sure every order from our customer’s shop is successfully delivered to our system and to the printer or sewing machine
• we also have several other teams taking care of various services provided by Printful — order packing and shipping, Warehousing & Fulfillment, Mockup Generator etc.
