Restaurant Manager to Doha (Qatar)

On behalf of our client we are searching for Restaurant Manager to join high class venue team in Doha (Qatar).

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager or similar role
• Previous experience working in a Japanese — concept restaurant
• Proven customer service experience as a manager
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills

Responsibilities:

• Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
• Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
• Meets restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
• Plans menus by consulting with chefs; estimates food costs and profits
• Avoids legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission
• Publicizes the restaurant by designing and placing advertisements
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures

Working Conditions:

• Basic salary up to 3500 $ + tips
• Employer provides with 2600$ for housing allowance and 412$ for transportation costs
